Feb 14, 2008 with the groupies

I was wondering what to do this Valentine's Day as i felt the pangs of missing a certain someone more than usual (sigh)... sometimes i think it's the hype of it all.. but watever it was.. it dint change the way i felt... so here's wat me and my lovely friends did... we went out for a night at Coco's ... groovy songs by a live performer crooning songs from the genre of Jack Johnson, Bon Jovi, Elvis, the police, Smokie and occasional Hindi songs (that i have no inkling about), outdoorsy ambience on the roof top and lamps to light up the place - it spelt relax, sit back and let go. And that's what we all ended up doing - the drinks , the hookah , the food - they were all ...well jus wat we needed!...despite the obvious couples that could be seen all around us... we jus had fun like how we always do together .... and so to this day i say hanging out with my friends certainly made the day for me!

At Long Last!

I think its finally time. I've always felt it but never came round to doing it. So, here's a start to dabbing down what little thoughts cross my preoccupied mind all the time. And whoever said there's a limit to thinking. So let me begin with a tribute to a singer who was introduced to me by one of my best friends. Jack Johnson- Sleep Through Static. Rave reviews and all the hype about it (thanks to my die-hard-smitten-n-bitten- yet dearest friend) is certainly not without reason. The songs sound as simple as simple can be but naturally genuine and feeling - its the kind of song u can say that uve felt- felt with ur ear ;). And i know my friend will be tumultuously exulting in trance like spells of verging faintness this very moment as she listens to his songs and even more so at this tribute. And i don't blame her coz he's worth every music listeners worth..so now at the end of the day(and beginning of the next day already!) here i go happy to be sleeping to the beat and strums around me... :) good day! ;)
